Gary Shepard

Gary Shepard began his professional art career in the early 70's as a watercolorist.  After much success, he expanded his talents, deciding to venture into oil painting as a new way to express himself.  He has become one of New England's most collected living artists.

Gary started painting at the age of twenty and has been painting professionally for over twenty-nine years.  The clarity and preciseness of all his wonderful paintings was begun with a course with the Washington School of Art in drawing which created a good foundation for his painting.

Shepard exhibits his paintings in galleries throughout the country with a higher concentration in New England.  He has exhibited in many shows and has received numerous awards.

Born in 1951 in Lowell, MA, Gary Shepard is a native of New England and has resided in New Hampshire since 1975.
